I was very saddened to see that Tim has died. He was my G.P. for many years and was incredibly kind to me. My sincere sympathy to all his family.

We will miss Tim a much loved member of the Aherne clan, a first cousin to my Dad and a fountain of information on the family history. His parents Frank and Lill were very close to us growing up and I remember many days in the Pub in Penrose Quay with fondness. Love to Jean and all the family.

I was so sorry to hear of the departure of Tim. We knew each other from schooldays [CBC] and all though our ways parted for a number of years we met again when I was searching for a family G.P.
A kinder and more caring man you could not find.
I subsequently joined Bourns Electronics and who was the Company Doctor.....none other than Tim. He carried the same attributes from his family practice into the world of business.

I'm sad to say that I missed the notice of Tim's death. Tim was a classmate and a fantastic tight head prop for UCCRFC, He could have played at a more exalted level, but was satisfied with a Munster Senior Cup medal. He opted instead to concentrate on his medical career and became a much loved GP and family man, who lived life with unfailing good humour. May he rest in peace.
