I am so sorry to hear of Tom's very sad passing. I worked with Tom on a committee in Tusla and it was a pleasure to work alongside him. He was a real advocate for vulnerable families and was so passionate about his therapeutic work. However, what I remember most is the pride and enthusiasm he exuded when he spoke of his five children and his role as a father. May he rest easy and his spirit live on through you all.

My deepest sympathies to Darina and Tom’s 5 children. I had the privilege of engaging professionally with Tom over the years in Tusla. I gained so much from his insights, knowledge and guidance in addressing very complex difficulties experienced by young people and their parents and caregivers. Tom had an incredibly kind, calm and reassuring manner about him. Speaking to him after his diagnosis, it was so clear how much he loved his family and was so proud of his children and their individual personalities and achievements.
Tom has been taken from his family far too soon.
He will not be forgotten.
