My sincere sympathy to the Bonar family on the death of Tony. He and I were classmates in St Eunan's College and later best friends at UCD where we had many happy times together. As a GP Tony was totally dedicated to the community he served. Rest in peace, Tony.

I often met Dr.Bonar down through the years at the Health Centre Dunfanaghy during my time as Community Welfare Officer with H.S.E .We always spoke in the native tongue, An Ghaeilge.
