Dr. William Courtney

"No Man is an Island" resonates within on recently hearing of William's sudden demise. William has gone home after a long voyage. Victor Frankel, an Austrian neurologist & psychiatrist spent three years in Auschwitz during WW2. His book "Man's Search for Meaning" is definitive of William's life . You fought the good fight , will now have salvific meaning to both you & your family. I cling to the credo as inspired by the Greek philosophers Plato & Socrates, the immortality of the soul.

Dr. Courtney was my psychiatrist many years ago in Vancouver, Canada. He was very helpful and I enjoyed his wonderful sense of humour. I haven't seen him for many years but he helped me to be a happier person and I will always be grateful for him.
