I was very sorry to hear belatedly of Dinny's death. Together with Alex she brought vivid meaning to the old adage "Romance springs eternal." She will be fondly missed in particular by saturday night bridge players in the Dun Laoghaire Bridge Club. Our sincere sympathy to all Dinny's family on the passing of a wonderful lady.
Susan and all your family. I was saddened to hear about the death of your dear Mum, Dinny. She lifted my spirits on the few occasions we met. A most wonderful lady. May she rest in peace.
Dinny was one in a million. I have so many fond memories of being spoilt rotten by her in shankhill. Dinny holds a special place in our hearts particularly dad’s her little brother Dermot who loved her dearly. Sincere sympathy to you all and many happy memories x

I had the pleasure of knowing Dinny for over 10 years. She had such an infectious joy about her. Always smiling and having a laugh any time we met. Thinking of Susan and all the Delaney family. She will be dearly missed.

I never had the privilege of meeting the lovely Dinny Delaney, but I feel I know her as Susan always spoke so lovely and told us so many funny stories about her mom,and if she's anything like Susan she was the best.
