Eamon was my first inspector in Tallaght as a young guard and as i moved and became involved with Galway GAA it became clear where one of his loves was. Always a gentleman and great to deal with.

So many brilliant memories of Eamon up and down the sidelines of Cherryfield and pitches all around Dublin as well as tournaments in Na Piarsaigh in Cork. He was always committed to the cause and had lots of craic along the way.

Also a great namesake to have when trying to blag in to Wesley teenage discos..."ya know my Dad the Garda, Eamon Dolan"....

My deepest condolences to Paul, Darrelle and their mum on the sudden passing of Eamon.
Eamon was a Stallworth of both Pine Valley and FF.
He was so proud of his children and thrilled to become a grandfather recently.
My own family always praised him and recalled a trip to Lourdes where he wheeled my late grandfather around.
Eamon is a huge loss to the community and FF, and his presence will be greatly missed by all those who lives he touched.

Its still hard to fathom how things can change so quickly. My deepest sympathies on Eamon's death. He's been a constant presence throughput my life and I will dearly miss the spark in his eye as the slagging started and how he was always so good to our family. Darrelle, you talked about the different names he was known by; in our house Eamon was and will always be known as 'the long lad'. Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam dílis.
