My Dad and Eamon were very good friends. Meeting in their latter years through many visits my Dad would have made on business to Eamon's business 'Health Matters' on South Great Georges Street. They were instantly like-minded, similar in philosophy and attitude. After those visits, they would pop over the Powerscourt Centre for a coffee and chat about life et al. And when Dad was very sick in hospital, Eamon called on the phone and spoke into his ear saying a few words of consolation and prayer. I never forgot that moment. My deepest sympathies to all those who loved and knew Eamon. He was a lovely man. May his gentle and kind soul rest in peace.
