I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Fitzgerald's passing. He was a lovely man, so gentle and kind, and always interested in a chat. I used to love meeting him on the road and having a chat and getting the news from him. He was always in good humour and loved to hear how everyone was getting on. He never forgot to ask after my father, who he'd always got on well with. I remember how generous he was with his time when we were in school and he was on the parents' association. He was a true gentleman, and the world is a poorer place without him. May his lovely soul rest in peace.
