So very sorry to read just now of the loss of ๐ข๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ข๐ค๐ฃ.
Though we hadn't been in contact much in recent years, back in the early 1990's he was ๐ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ค ๐๐ง๐ค๐ช๐๐๐ฉ ๐จ๐ค ๐ข๐ช๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐ข๐ฎ ๐ก๐๐๐.
At the time I was without a base to live in and was staying in a youth hostel.
When รamon heard this, within seconds he had invited me to stay in his apartment in Phibsboro.
While there ๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ง๐ค๐๐ช๐๐๐ ๐ข๐ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฎ ๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฎ ๐ฅ๐ค๐จ๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ๐จ ๐ค๐ ๐ก๐๐๐, and especially healthy living.
๐๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ, ๐ฎ๐ค๐๐, ๐จ๐๐ ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ข๐ข๐๐ฃ๐, ๐๐ฎ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐, ๐๐ง๐ค๐ฌ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช๐ง ๐ค๐ฌ๐ฃ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ก๐๐จ were so much part of his way that one couldn't but be influenced.
Also he showed me the value of mindful eating and occasional 'fasting' which I still do to this day.
๐๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐จ ๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐ค๐ ๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ค๐ซ๐๐จ, and whatever the weather Eamon found time back then to spend time there.
A regular haunt for us back then was the ๐๐๐ค๐๐ฃ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ง๐ , where we hurled and played soccer and Eamon showed me the importance of 'grounding', connecting to the earth via barefoot walking.
At that time I was going through a lot of challenges and Eamon kindly took me under his wing and showed me this healthier more positive approach to life,
