I have very fond memories of our time playing and growing up together as next door neighbours on Turlough road.It was always a pleasure to meet Eamon on my return trips to Castlebar over the years. Eamon was a much liked colleague on Castlebar Urban District Council back in the 80's and 90's.
I enjoyed his company and respected his opinions. He was in offensive at all times and had a quick turn of wit at times.
