Muriel, Máire and Marcus, I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. I have memories of time spent on my “holidays” with ye in Dublin from 35 odd years ago! I remember Eamon and Kit could never do enough for us. Marcus, I only got to meet you very briefly a couple of weeks ago, I enjoyed your comment about how you can see a lot of Eddie in me! Ye will all be in our thoughts over the coming days. Hopefully Eamon is reunited now with Kit, Eddie and Mia.

To Muriel, Máire and Marcus. I’m so sorry to hear of your father Eamon’s death. I really looked forward to our regular phone calls, we would talk for ages! I have fond memories of when I visited Kit’s grave and he would take me to the local for a carvery lunch. He truly was a kind and caring man. Thinking of you all. Goodbye my dear friend.

The memories came flooding back of loitering in your house throughout the 90s, and always receiving the warmest of welcomes from Éamon and Kit. Éamon was a beautiful soul who'd always talk to you in the most caring manner. I cherish the times I got the DART with your dad, up the front in the driver's cab, having the chats, feeling like first class. Travel well, Éamon. R. I. P.
