Eamon McCaughey

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Eamon at the weekend. He was such a lovely neighbour and always so pleasant and friendly. Hard to believe he's gone. My sincere condolences to all his family.

I was very sorry to hear about Eamon. I knew he had been ill. Lovely man of strong views. I valued his support and we had Cuban issues in common. May Eamon rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of Eamon's death, and sorry I couldn't make his funeral this morning but so glad to be able to watch it online. What wonderful fitting heartfelt tributes to him from all the speakers! Collectively they gave a real sense of the man he was. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann for sure. I was in my 20s when the McCaughey family entered my life. For the better of course.
Thats when I first met Eamon as well. A great McCaughey indeed.
