Well a great oak has fallen. Eamon was a neighbour, but he was much more than just that. He was a best friend to both my mother and father, a role model and mentor to us as children and always someone you could look up to and trust. Never stood for nor ever uttered a word of nonsense and always had a positive opinion. My thoughts and sympathies are with you Siobhan, Jerry, Christine, Catherine, partners and grandchildren. We will miss Ned dearly.

I am so sorry to hear that Ned has passed away. I didn’t hear about Ned’s passing until after his burial. Ned was my first boss and I have lovely memories of him. He was a character and I will miss bumping into Ned in Breens. He was such a lovely man. Condolences to all of the Breen family.
