We were members of the local Fianna Fail Con Colbert Cumann Palmerstown for many years. We were good friends, I always knew I could phone him if I had an issue or problem in the Cumann. I had the honour of serving with Eamon on the Officer Board of Dublin West CDC for 10 years during which time we used to meet for lunch on Fridays up to last November which must have been well over 30 years. I will miss Eamon terribly.
