I have great memories of meeting Eamon over the years in Ennis and Nenagh. He was a great trickster and had many a story to tell. My late mother Monica always had great time for him, and no doubt they are in heaven together continuing the jokes and the stories.
Maire, you were a fantastic companion for Eamon for such a long time, the two of you always came as a pair! And in the latter years, I saw first hand the exemplary care given to him by yourself and the fantastic team of carers in Nenagh. You were correct in saying the carers became like a family, and I've no doubt they felt the same.
We will be here for you any time.

I was so saddened to hear of Eamons passing,i have such beautiful memories of my time in Gortlandroe.Máire your love and devotion to Eamon was an inspiration to all,you welcomed us in everyday smiling and cheerful you wanted nothing but your beloved Eamon to be cared for in a manner befitting of him.I loved my time spent with Eamon listening to music and his mischievous smile and sense of humour he truly was a gentleman and a beautiful soul.I learned so much from my time there and i think of you all often.I will always think of Eamon when i hear Pavarotti's Caruso as it was one of his favourites.
