Eamon O'Mahony

It was on the usual annual trip this week to Ballyferriter in the west Kerry Gaeltacht that we. his fellow classmates found out of the sad death of our friend Eamon, who for many years was part of our Irish language community. It was always a pleasure to spend time in his company, and his loss was keenly by those who knew him . My sympathies to his family and friends. Suaimheas siorai da anam dÍlis.

My deepest sympathy to Eamon’s family on his passing. I was lucky enough to have been in the same Irish class as him in UCC over a number of years. He was such a lovely gentleman, always lovely company. Unfortunately our paths haven’t crossed in many years but I never forgot him. May he rest in peace.
