Eamonn Dunne

I went to Maynooth with Eamonn and we both taught for over three decades in Carrickmacross. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing and send sincere sympathy to his family and friends.

Just after hearing of this sad news about Eoman, may he rest in peace. A good man and football coach. Thinking of his family at this sad time.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Eamonn’s passing. I have fond memories of him calling in to our house when he was a young lad - he played football with my brothers. I had the good fortune to bump into him a few years ago in Croke Park and he was in fine form. Deepest condolences to you all on such a huge loss, may Eamonn’s gentle soul rest in peace.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Eamonn. He was a gentleman and a true Gael! Had some good times in Maynooth. My condolences to all the family. Taken far too soon. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís.

Fond memories of when I first met Eamonn through my friendship with his brother Seamus. I remember always having a great craic ( as you say) especially when he visited Buckhurst Hill in Essex when I flat shared with Seamus in the early 90's not to mention going with him to watch his son Jimmy play for Accrington at Luton Town in 2018!
Full of with and charm, he will be sorely missed.

Very sad to hear of Eamonn’s passing . Taken way too young . I remember him fondly from our days in College in Maynooth. Eamonn was good natured and great company, may he RIP.

So sorry but only just heard this sad news. Eamonn and I played together with Parnells, Dublin and went to Maynooth College at the same time. He was always good humoured and full of mischief. He was the very best of company and I'm sorry for your loss Karen & Family. Rest easy Dunner......

I have great memories of Eamonn when I worked in the High School years ago. Very pleasant and had many great chats.
He also taught my son Leif when he was a student there and he also has many fond memories of him.
We were extremely saddened to hear of his passing and give our deepest sympathies to his wife, children and extended family.

Deepest condolences to the Dunne family. I have great memories in PHS because of Eamonn. The Physics lab, football pitch and school tour to Beijing were always filled with passion, enthusiasm and great fun. He was an excellent mentor when I started teaching Physics. May he rest in peace.
