EAMONN (EDMOND) O'NEILL

I recently met ye both in ‘town’ and we had a ‘cuppa’ while Eamonn proudly showed me yer presents for your grandchildren. He was so proud and full of joy when sharing stories of times with your children and grandchildren. A cherished memory for me. May Eamonn’s souls rest in peace.

I was deeply shocked to hear today of Eamonn's death. We were at school together from primary to leaving cert. I have fond memories of us competing in Manor Street to get the best marks - Eamonn always came out on top. At our last Mount Sion Old Boys reunion in 2019 we sat together at the meal and afterwards shared the taxi home. We had all that time to recall our school day memories. Eamonn was special: he was good natured, talented and great fun. I live in London and sadly will not be able to attend the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with the O'Neill family.
