I'm very saddened to learn of Eamonn's passing. One of life's gentlemen. Rest in peace.

Nuala, Robert, Stephen and extended family, our sincerest sympathies on the death of Eamonn. This was indeed very sad news. Eamonn was a special person, always engaging and interesting. We will sorely miss him and our get-togethers. Hope to see you soon.

We only heard the terribly sad news about Eamonn yesterday. Looking through the many tributes anybody can see the genuine affection that everybody has for Eamonn, and the fond memories of great times had together over many years working in BOI and since, both professionally and socially.

Dreadful news - my heart and thoughts are with you Nuala, and the lads. So so many memories from sporting arena eg, when we set up the BoI Men’s Basketball Club and entered the Leagues; won a couple of InterBanks together; and took the team on tour to Edinburgh & Amsterdam!! Playing I/Banks in Volleyball & Snooker too. Not to mention the verbal jousting on the business side when I’d arrive into APG in Cabinteely with my Audit hat on!! So professional and dedicated to improving everyone around him, whether sport or business. Another good one bites the dust - RIP Eamonn, you’ll be missed by all who knew you.

I had the pleasure of working with Eamonn @ BOI in the 90's, he was always the consummate professional. My abiding memories are of playing soccer in Knockrabo during the Summer competitions when we battled together in the social section with our enthusiastic colleagues. Eamonn was always supportive of those less talented around him.
