Eamonn Lawlor

Anne, Chris, John, Words won’t bring Eamonn back but hopefully the memories and stories will make you smile for a bit. We always enjoyed a spin with Eamonn. We shared (he shared more than I) great stories and we never heard the same one repeated.
He loved all humour, even the weak stuff, and had a great laugh. Always ready to lend a hand and help a fellow cyclist.
We’ll have the extra chocolate in our cappuccinos in Mint in your memory. We still miss you. A true friend.

So sorry to hear of Eamon's sad and untimely passing. We've not met for many decades now, but we were best buddies at age 12 in the Gaelteacht in Kerry and commuting by CIE from Dunlavin to Naas CBS for 5 years. RIP.

My fellow Cycling Club members and I met Eamonn only once - when he so kindly came to drive the support van on our trip to Mont Ventoux in 2018. What a great contribution he made, as driver, mechanic, coach and wit! Our condolences to all the family and his many friends.

I first met Eamonn around 2003 when he was a big part of the Irish Downhill MTB scene, driving a bunch of lads all over europe to race bicycles down hills. He looking after them along, I’d say he was like an adopted uncle or even unofficial manager to many. Even with a bit of authority, he was always one of the lads. My sincere best wishes to all the Lawlor family, he’ll be missed.
