A true gentleman is lost but never forgotten.

Our sincere condolences to Carol and the family on Eamonn's death. He was a wonderful kind hearted man who had vision and ability which was never squandered. If the purpose of life is to use our talents to the betterment of life, then Eamonn has earned his eternal reward. He had a unique ability to gather many views, often opposing opinions and yet he managed to distill the essence of the arguments into a cohesive universally accepted response. He adapted to change and met uncertainty with fortitude and resilience. His greatest fight was saved for his final time with us. Through all that he was dignified and stoic and brought great humility to bear. He was a mentor to so many of us. He leaves a wonderful legacy to Irish Tourism. I would like to thank you Carol and your supportive family for allowing us have the benefit of Eamonn's many talents. Initiatives that he championed will live on and be always associated with Eamonn McKeon. The Wild Atlantic way is one such venture that he has as legacy. But more than any is the humanity of Eamonn and his influence on so many of us. We have a role model of immense integrity to follow. His soul lives on as each of us perpetuates his memory. God Bless you all and grant you succor from the energy of the many who revered his talents, ability, wit, repartie and humanity.
