I sat behind Eamonn in the study hall in knockbeg. He was in 5th year and i was in 1st year. He was so kind and we had alot of fun.
Then when i went driving trucks we met again when i was delivering grain up to the stores. He always made time for a chat.

Eammon my dear friend from the first to last day in St. Laurence's N. S you were a sweet, sincere, smiley classmate and made every day brighter, as you did for everyone you met! So very saddened to hear of your passing. My love to Terence who I nursed in the Meath hospital all those years ago, holding your hand as he went down for your many ops, can only imagine the sadness in the Nolan family right now but yer wonderful spirit will pull you all through, my love to you all 🙏

Sending all my love to Eammons family, I just can't believe the sad news that he has passed. I read the letter many times before it sunk in. Eamonn was such a kind, generous person who supported my business when it was struggling at the beginning. He would deliver oil to me when he knew it would take me a few weeks to pay for it. I will never forget his kindness and will miss our laughs and chats when he was delivering to us. Im so very sorry to all who loved him, may he sing and dance and laugh for eternity. A terrible loss

I'm shocked to hear the sad news of Eamonn's sudden passing. I met Eamonn 7 years ago when he started to deliver our oil to us in Rathsallagh and now in Dunlavin. Too often I ran out of oil and Eamonn never left us stuck. A gentleman. Thinking of Eamonn's wife and 2 children whom he spoke about so fondly. RIP.

We looked up to Eamonn as children, watching him mow our neighbours' lawns and take the bus to college in Dublin from outside our gate. In the warmth and brightness of his greeting, you felt welcome and seen.

May Eamonn now be welcomed into rest with the same warmth, brightness and generosity of spirit he possessed and expressed throughout his life. His spirit lives on in you, in his community and beyond.
