Dear Eileen, Margaret, Fintan and Nuala. I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your lovely father. I have fond memories of him and your mother all those years ago Eileen calling to your house after school and playing on stage with you all at a Christmas concert in Our Ladys Secondary school.

'The end of an era' having spent so much of my childhood on happy holidays in Blayney with my cousins.

Maura and Eamon never got over the untimely death of their beloved son Brendan.

I hope they are reunited with all their siblings enjoying a ceili with Eamon playing his wonderful accordion.

I have fond memories of Eamonn's interest and dedication in getting music lessons, up and running in the Hope Castle and later Iontas. Many a music session I played at, with Eamonn. He thoroughly enjoyed playing his music!

Deepest sympathy to Margaret, Eileen, Fintan, and Nuala on the sad passing of your Dad, Eamonn. Eamonn was a man with a deep love of Irish culture. A dyed in the wool GAA man who gave mighty service to Castleblayney Faughs as player, coach, manager and club secretary. Eamonn will be especially remembered by so many former Faughs players in Castleblayney whom he coached at under age level. One of the qualities he brought to that role was as a great encourager. Eamonn immersed himself in the life of his adopted Castleblayney with a deep engagement in music as a musician and tutor as well as a a set and ceili dancer. He was also for many years a staunch member of the church choir. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Maura and son Brendan. May he rest in peace.
