Amy and family, I am so saddened to hear of Eamonn's passing. From serving me blackcurrant juice over 30 years ago in the Cedars to my first proper drink at 18, Eamonn was a well known and much loved part of the community. Amy, I will always remember how fondly you talked about your Dad and it was such a pleasure to know him.

Thank you for sharing him with the people of Raheny as he did what he had to do. He bestrode the Cedars like a colossus for all those years , no employer could have had a better manager or ambassador. It should be remembered how popular and regally he performed in his term as Lord Mayor of Raheny back in the day. Even in his latter years cycling around the roads there was always the friendly wave and greeting. A friend to all. May Eamonn rest easily.

So sad to hear about Eamonn. He always stopped to chat passing by the house out on his bike. A warm welcome was always there when we visited the Cedars too, looking after all the regulars and checking how all the family were keeping. Our condolences to all the family.
