So sad to learn of Eddies passing. He was a pure gentlemen. I have lots of lovely memories of his laughter and fun when I was a child and himself and Kathleen would "come home" from England for a holiday.

Eddie was a huge GAA follower and could list the players on every Meath team from underage right up to senior. His work as leader of the famous Flying Squad is part of Navan Carpets folklore.
