Sad to hear Eddie passed away on 9th March. I will never forget he was my best teacher of bookbinding in Bolton Street during evening class only last a few months before it discontinued in 2000. He taught me how to do the bookbinding ran from October to April although I was Deaf man and understood what he instructed me, using to write on the notes for communication. I still continue to do bookbinding on a lot of books of Deaf History, magazines, leaflets etc at home which I was most grateful to Eddie's skill for my useful career of bookbinding. Much thanks to Eddie.

So sorry to hear this news. Eddie was my bookbinding lecturer in Bolton Street back in the 80s. I can still hear him in the bookbinding room in Bolton St telling us to go easy with the gold leaf! He was a gentleman, a great lecturer and liked by all his students. RIP

As a young boy Eddie was only too happy to help me perfect my skill at games of push ha'penny and Subbuteo football in our front parlor. Eddie you always had time for me.
So many other fond memories of nights out, lovely meals, great company and time spent in Artane upon our trips back to Dublin.
