I was so sorry to hear of Eddie's death. He was an absolute gentleman and so very kind to me when I arrived to teach in Sexton Street back in the 1960s.

My sincerest sympathy to you Mrs Fallon and your family on Eddie's passing (or Mr Fallon as I would have known him). I was lucky enough to have been a pupil of his in Sexton Street CBS where he taught me business subjects. He was an excellent teacher and he presented his subjects in an informative and interesting style. All this was achieved without fuss. I have thought of him fondly from time to time down the years. Thanks in no small way to him, I went on to have a very fulfilling career in banking and consultancy.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Fallon. A true character and one of the many people I remember fondly from my school days. I once tried to fool him by showing him the same homework two days running hoping he wouldn't inspect it too closely. He looked at me and said calmly" that was incorrect when you showed it to me yesterday and it's still incorrect today". RIP Mr Fallon a true gentleman.

I was a pupil in Sexton Street in the 1960s and was fortunate to have Mr Fallon as a teacher. He was firstly a gentleman and a very good teacher.
Though it’s almost sixty years ago I still recall his classes with great respect and affection . I remember him as a great man whose influence was always positive.
