Very saddened to hear the news of Eddies departure my condoleances to his immediate family ,relatives and friends
One was always sure of taking first prize at quiz nights with Eddie on your team. Ace soccer player and aspiring Junior 10 corner forward for St Pat' s Donabate. R.I.P.
Remembering all the happy times we shared in London in the late 70s and early 80s when Eddie first came over from Drogheda with my beloved late husband William Gogarty and their fried John Byrne. William died last August.
Both our lovely husbands were taken from us too soon.
Sincere condolences Dympna and Joe. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I will always remember Eddie's wit. As a DCU colleague whose office was on the same corridor as me, we would chat often and I always left those encounters with a wonderful - often funny -turn of phrase ringing in my ears. Eddie you are missed. May you rest in peace.
