It’s with Great sadness and a heavy heart, I read of Eddie’s passing, a very dear friend and fellow fisher man of Ballyshannon estuary.
Eddie you were a true gentleman, always very friendly and provided a honest update on the fishing when we met at the jettie. RIP Eddie 🙏 🎣

The sudden and unexpected death of our former neighbour and friend, Eddie, came as a tremendous shock to all members of the Dillon family. Eddie was an absolute gentleman and it was indeed a great pleasure to have him and his family as our neighbours for many years. Eddie has now gone to join his beloved Ann and their sons Patrick and Shaun in God's heavenly kingdom. Our sincere sympathy is extended to Elaine, Breege, Joanne, Enda and Aidy and their partners and Grandchildren along with the extended McFadden family and his many friends. Rest in Peace Eddie.
