My sincere condolence to all of the Murray family on the death of Eddie. I have been visiting my brother George in Marymount several times a week and had many chats with Eddie.Thumbs up was his first greeting. He always sat side by side with his wife. May both of them rest in peace.

Mr Murray was an important part of our lives growing up — a kind and constant presence just two doors down. He was more than a neighbour; he was a true friend to our family, always welcome in our home and always ready with a smile, a story or a helping hand.

We have many fond memories of him over the years, and he will be deeply missed.

Eddie and Kathleen were long time members and supporters of our Assoc.and Eddie became our esteemed Treasurer for many years upto 2023.

We met Eddie and Kathleen as new neighbours in 1967.very quickly the dubs and the Monaghan folks became friends and our family milestones became intertwined.The years rolled on and the interests and activities endured.The Murray’s were terrific neighbours and Eddie was the genius who could fix all problems and helped all and sundry with their problems.We will miss Eddie and Kathleen but we will never forget the best friends and neighbours that were the Murray’s.
