Eddie was a good friend to me and my wife Ita before she passed,they had many a great chat in Tullamore hospital and im sure they are catching up together now. Eddie was my section commander with the 10th Platoon in Columb Bks in 1972...and I can say that he was a pure and honest gentleman..he looked after us recruits so well and treated us like his own..he was also very funny...rest in peace Eddie my old friend.
