I had booked Caherass for my mother's 80th birthday back in 1996 and I still remember the wonderful attention he gave to all of us but especially to my mother: which really made her day. She loved growing flowers and shrubs and was thrilled with Eddie's arrangements along with the old farming artefacts. God rest them both.

Our thoughts are with all the O’Donnell family following the sad loss of Eddie. What a legend. We have fond memories of time spent with him both socially and in the cattle markets over in Yorkshire. We loved to visit Caherass House and always kept in touch with lengthy phone calls.. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
