I remember your Dad working in Ei for many years. He was a first class tool and mould designer to say nothing of his ability with cartoon sketches. We held him in very high regard. In addition he was an absolute gentleman. May I offer my deepest condolences to all his family.

I worked with Eddie in the late seventies and eighties designing plastic injection moulded parts and he was a great mentor and brilliant draftsman. Being a naive mechanical designer, one of the parts (ionization chamber insulator) was the smallest and most complicated, with many small shut off faces, that the toolmakers had ever made. Only after the product was in production, did Eddie tell me that the toolmakers only gave it a 50% chance of working !
Butter lamps will be lit in Dzoghen Beara in remembrance of fine gentleman.
