Very sad to hear of Eddie’s passing; my thoughts are with the whole Walsh family. Eddie was always cheerful and encouraging to us as kids messing about at Leadymore during summers in the 1970/80s and I know my grandparents valued him as a kind, helpful and thoughtful neighbour. Rest in peace.

I first met Eddie in Asahi many years ago when he was working for Sean Hannick.

He was always a kind and gentle man who was always so pleasant to meet and chat with.
