Edel spoke so bravely about her illness and she was so kind to all .

Looking through old photos will always break our hearts, reminding us of all the great days we spent in this wonderful girl's company. Edel was so kind and caring to everyone she ever met and never asked for anything in return. She was my best friend.
We had the best of times together learning to live, love, laugh, fight, forgive, take advice, give advice...until we eventually we had to grow up (somewhat).
