So sorry to hear of Edel's passing. I will always remember her for the fun, energy & great kindness she brought with her. Sending condolences to all her family & no doubt Edel will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to love her.

Edel, you were one in a million. I only found out on Saturday, that you were gone, Too Heaven free now, from all you pain and suffering. I am truly gutted too have lost a friend like you in my life. You made me laugh, you made my day. You had so much Humor. I loved too see your head pop in front of me in our shop here in the Town Center.
I wish my sincere condolences Too your wife, Lorraine❤💖. And all your families and friends, much loved bye many far and near. Rest in peace now, never to be forgotten xxx💕

I am so sorry to hear this sad news of Edel's passing. We will always remember with fondness lovely times & great fun on our visits to Thurles when we would be staying with our Gran Julia Ely in Moyne. Although we lost contact over the years i will always remember the fun we had visiting Carroll's Pub.. Rest in peace Edel xx

To Lorraine, Stefan and Jane, so sorry to read of Edel's Passing. I met Edel while in St. Luke's Hospital, Rathgar, while we were both having Treatment and we totally became the best of friends. We had so múch fun and laughter and we had tears too but we really kept each other going and everybody else in the Ward too. She was truly an inspiration to me all through her illness and treatment. She will be sadly missed by everybody who had the pleasure of knowing her. Edel, you are now out of pain and are flying with the Angels. Goodbye my friend, Rest in Peace xx

So saddened to hear of Edel’s passing. I have such great memories of Edel during our time in the Ursuline secondary school. A larger than life character who was always the life and soul of any get together and was everybody’s friend.
