My sincerest condolences to Joan and all the boys - now men. I am so deeply saddened to hear the tragic news of Ed's passing. I truly loved him as a true friend and an absolute gentleman. We shared many fun-filled years together and there was never even a hint of a bad word between us. I don't think the word bad was in Ed's vocabulary! We were most definitely "brothers in arms" and I will undoubtedly miss my dear friend, bandmate, and one of a kind human beings, as I am sure those who truly knew him will. Ed was always a giver throughout his life - never a taker - and I am honoured and humbled to proudly say I knew him well. To say I am devastated would be an understatement. Rest in peace Ed my friend, and God speed.
