I am very sad to hear of the loss of Edie. I have happy memories together at school at The Bower, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. My condolences to all her family and friends. May Edie RIP.

Shocked to have just heard about the sad passing of Edith. We sat beside each other in boarding school. She was a beautiful person in the quietest way, sincere, sensitive and had the most wonderful eyes. Later this year a class reunion is being organised in Athlone and was looking forward to catching up with Edith. It is with sadness that we never stayed in contact. Anita my sincere condolences to you and to the whole family. Edith you will be greatly missed and definitely remembered.
