I’m so sorry to hear this news about Mick, who was a fantastic neighbour to our parents on Rockfort Avenue.

He was always so generous with his time. He was so sharp and dependable right to the end. He amazed us all by climbing a ladder up to his roof in his nineties!

We will all miss him a lot - it feels like the end of an era. My heartfelt condolences to Joan, Louise, Basil and all the family.

It is with much sadness that we heard of the passing of our esteemed Member, Edmond. He was a Member of the Club for over 66 years, and he will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies go to his family during this difficult time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam

Mick was a wonderful neighbour to my parents Per and Celine, and a lovely and kind man to all who met him. My heartfelt condolences to Joan, Basil, Louise and the whole family. Rockfort Avenue won’t be the same without him.
