I wish to add my condolences to the many
already expressed to the extended Harty family on Ned’s passing.
Ned and myself sat together in Rathmorrell
National School in the 1940’s and 50’s.
He was a nice quiet lad, well mannered, a bright pupil, and an example to us all.
My father Mike and my uncle Pat were fortunate to gain employment in Ned’s parents farm when work and money were scarce.
They always spoke in glowing terms about Eddie and Mrs. Harty.
