My sincere condolences to the Slattery family on the sad death of Ned RIP. I worked with him in the 'A' District. A true gentleman.
To Moira and family I worked with Ned in A District for a number of he was a very fine man and will be remembered with affection by all who worked with him in the Garda Siochana

We are so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of spending time in Dublin with Grainne when I was a teenager. Uncle Ned was always such a gentleman and so good natured.

Our Mother Chrissie Maunsell,Abbeydorney had to go the Dublin in the '70's as she had a son in Temoke St Hosp. Nuala arranged for her to stay with Ned. She often told us how Ned collected her from the train looked after her and when she was leaving Neds wife Moira gave her a lovely coat to keep.
