To Niamh, Ciarán, Fiona, Colm, & extended Corrigan family, we are all saddened to hear our fellow band mate and dear friend, Edmund, has passed away, RIP

Edmund was a gentleman, always looking so smart in his suit, and when he arrived to a rehearsal or performance his trumpet was of course, always gleaming.

There have been so many good memories over many years for Edmund with Lucan Concert Band, and over recent times it had become a tradition to see a ‘good luck’ WhatsApp message arriving in from Edmund before we headed off to a performance or competition.

When Edmund was still occasionally playing with the band, one of his favourites was a lovely Carols by Candlelight Christmas performance, we always looked forward to him joining in to play then and catching up over tea and mince pies afterwards.

Edmund had a great sense of humour, and there was many laughs had together over the years during our Monday night band rehearsals, …although he never did quite learn to ‘whisper’ whilst chatting amongst the trumpets!

We will miss you Edmund, RIP
