Dear Dolores, Caroline and Jennifer. So saddened by dear uncle Ed's death. He brought such happiness and life with him wherever he went and we are all so much poorer for his absence. Praying for you at this sad time and that the tears of loss will be transformed to smiles of remembrance of a man much loved. My deepest sympathies to Delores and family on the passing of Eddsie. He was a great friend and a gentleman, who was loved by everyone. Eddsie leaves us with so many treasured memories of good times on the golf course and at the 19th hole, they will never be forgotten. Sleep well my friend, you leave us for a better place with your head held high.

It was with the greatest of sadness that I heard of Eddsie’s passing. No words can take the pain away for the Deegan family at this very very sad time.  My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to all of Eddsie’s family. Memories come flooding back as I recall Eddsie and my brother Michael playing marbles on the Green on a cold Winters day circa 1960. I hope these two boyhood friends are reunited in Heaven. May he and his lovely sister Rose rest in peace.
