Thank you Edna for all the great memories. All the great holidays and laughs. Rest In Peace. Maria and sons
On behalf of the O Connell family. I would like to say that Edna was a unique and special person who bore her illness bravely and who will be missed by us all. May she rest in peace with her parents.
Sincere condolences to the family on the passing of Edna . Fond memories of Edna from my early working days.
Rest in peace Edna. Thank you for all the wonderful times we had, so many laughs over the years. God Bless
I didn't know Edna very well - first met her through our mutual friend, Celene, when we were all very young. In latter years I became reacquainted with her whenever Celene visited Ireland. She even came to visit me a few times in Drumcondra after Celene returned home and I enjoyed her company very much - we had some very entertaining natters together. She will be missed. Condolences to all her family and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Fond memories of Edna and her mum Myra. May Edna rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Edna's family and friends at this sad time. May she Rest in Peace
I have known Edna since we were young, our friendship suffered many trials and tribulations but we managed to maintain our relationship through it all. I will miss her terribly as she was my sounding board and my strongest supporter. Edna was a kind, generous woman who loved to laugh, and we did, a lot!
My sincerest sympathy to her family and many friends.
I’ve known Edna from my earliest days as she has been my Mam’s oldest friend. Despite having been separated by an ocean in 1969, they kept their friendship going strong...a total of over 65 years!

Whenever I visited Ireland, I wouldn’t miss seeing Edna at her home where she would always generously receive me for tea with biscuits galore, ham sandwiches, and cakes from the local bakery. I certainly never left hungry!

Anyone who knew Edna well, knew she was a very special lady, whose imagination, curiosity and thoughtfulness were remarkable. She will be dearly missed by my Mam and by me.

May God be with her.
