Malahide, June 6 2011. It was only today by chance that I came across the heart wrenching news of David's death and of Gillian's injuries in 2009. Although I have not seen or spoken to him in over ten years I feel personally very saddened at his family's loss. He was one of the good guys to whom I owed a lot of thanks for past favours. I feel so sad for you Gillian.
Had the privilege of spending the August bank holiday with Dave and Gillian in Battlebridge. We had a great weekend as per usual. Our thoughts and love are with Gillian, Edward and Georgina. It was/is an honour to have known Mr. Manly, you'll never be forgotten.
