Dear Sarah and Family,
Very sad to hear about the death of your father, he was true gentleman who was naturally positive, encouraging and always pleasant to be around - and will be missed.

Dear Thomas, Sean and Sarah
Judy and I send you our deepest sympathy. I'm sorry we didn't make it to the funeral - I only found out that morning.
We mourn his loss. He was such a unique, strong & passionate character, with an intellect and wit that sparkled. It is also sad that he is the end of this generation of the Round House Dukes, and we remember fondly Liam, Kevin, Sean and Lorcan, and of course Ma and Da Duke.
I remember him as a Weston hockey stalwart and a friend - socks down, stick flailing, tough but fair. Afterwards he was the heart of the craic in the County Bar, and manys the night I spent in the Duke household, experiencing the hospitality of Eamonn and the equally wonderful Fiona - a magical couple.
It is fitting they are at last together again.
May they rest in peace.
Every good wish.
Fergal.

I was deeply shocked to learn of the death of Eamonn. He was a most friendly and ever courteous colleague during our days at Colaiste Mhuire and in latter years when we would meet in the Duke Pub off Grafton Street. Always had great stories to tell about his hurling and hockey adventures. He will be greatly by all who had the privilege of his generous friendship. My sincere condolences to all. Denis Doyle?
Very sorry for your loss.
To Sarah and your brothers and extended family may we wish our sincere sympathy at the passing of your Dad Eamonn
