It was with great shock and sadness we learned of Eddie's death. It was our privilege to have known him and shared his company so often over the years. Especially at 142 Glasnevin Avenue where he and Mairead always made a point of being there when we visited. We have so many lovely memories of Eddie which we are grateful for. May he Rest in Peace.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Eddie a real Gentleman my Condolences to his Wife and Family may he RIP

It was with the most profound sadness that I became aware, on Monday 18th July 2022, of the passing of Ed (Eddie Boyle). Ed was a near neighbour of ours, for nigh on 40 years. Eddie, RIP, was a gentleman to his fingertips. He was a soft spoken person, always with a disarming smile, which when added to his lovely Scottish accent, always made for the most pleasant of encounters.

My heart goes out to Ed's wife Mairead, and his children: Eamonn, Catherine and Eoin at this very sad time. No surprise that Ed and Mairead raised the lovely family which they did. How could it be any other way, with such nice people and dedicated parents as mentors and guardians. A nicer family, we could not have hoped for, as near neighbours.

May Ed, (Eddie) rest in peace, and may the good Lord be with all of Ed's family, as they make their inevitable individual, and collective journey, through grief. May the many wonderful memories of a loving Husband and Dad serve often to console each and every one of them at this time and into the future.

RIP Eddie. Our small community was privileged and honoured to have had you among us. You can never be replaced, but the memory of your kind and pleasant presence among us, will live long in our hearts.
