I was very sad to hear of Eddie’s passing. I always thought he was a lovely person, with a beautiful smile. My mother was very fond of her younger brother.

Where do I start ? I have so many great memories of Eddie. One thing I will say is every time Eddie and Bridie came to visit us in England we never had any !! rain during their stay .. on a walk round sandringham Eddie went round on a scooter. We were going very slowly when we realised the scooter was on tortoise speed so we changed it to hare. There was no stopping Eddie then .. Nigel mansell was off ha ha .. there are so many stories and not enough room here. Eddie and Bridie always made me so welcome in Dublin and we loved having them to stay with us in England. I will miss our chats about football and his stories of growing up in Dublin. Eddie was a lovely man with a wicked sense of humour. I will miss you Eddie but never forget you.
