To be honest there are very little words that can represent how brightly and boldly Ed lived and loved! There was no denying the bond that you three had, a connection that will never fade away!! ❤️ He will leave a big hole now during our family gatherings not many can slag and get away with it like Ed x we just appreciate him not killing Ciaran on their first trip x always around if you need something now and forever especially a delivery of lasagna and garlic Bread...

Broken hearted for Eddie, Barbra and Aaron. A good man was taken that day and World will be at a loss because he's gone.
Eddie made the impossible possible for me and il never forget him for that.
He will remain alive and with us in our memories.

Although I did not know Eddie personally I can tell what an incredible man he was from the way Barbra spoke about him , each time her face was filled a cheeky smirk and their was a sparkle in her eye! Eddie was a funny very thoughtful character! Great fun and such courage! Always enjoyed chats with him..except when we were very little and he got his own way for being the youngest! Such a larger than life character. Always up for the craic but always so proud of Aaron and Barbara and the fight for the results. Known for 11 short years and always brought a smile. Never forgotten Eddie.

It was an honour to be able to spend the last few days of Ed’s life with him. He kept me on my toes as usual. I will miss him so much especially when my wine glass is empty

Eddie was a great guy. Always friendly and willing to give a dig out. He was the best of neighbours to 3 generations of Colleran/Friel's who lived beside you. Young Adam loved to help Eddie clean the taxi and Eddie always had great welcome for him. He will be missed by many and most of all by you Barbra and Aaron. Eddie, gone but never forgotten.
