Edward (Eddie) O’Neill

Sincere sympathies to Michael, Anne and the extended O'Neill family on the passing of Eddie. He was a very nice man who put great effort into training the Lynwood Park boys soccer teams for the Community games back in the day. I remember us marching up O'Connell street one St. Patrick's day parade, in the freezing rain, with Eddie proudly leading us and keeping us in check. Maybe rest in peace.

Always a gentleman , Eddie , together with the late Frank McInerney and the late John Ryan, co-founded the Over 40s soccer tournament that has raised significant monies for local charities over time. He also gave sterling service to Shelbourne FC. Quietly spoken , Eddie was a most effective administrator who brought a calmness to everything in which he participated. Rest in peace , Eddie.

Rip Eddie worked with Eddie many years ago

So sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. A lovely man and great neighbour, being one of the men guiding the Parish Sports Week in the 1980s. He will be missed by his family, neighbours and friends.
